It’s been a long time since I’ve written here–too long, really, and a sign that I’ve allowed myself to get into a rut. There is, after all, a link between when I’m reading and writing and when I’m being productive in general, and the opposite is true.
As I thought about getting back into the habit of blogging more frequently, it occurred to me that the old AndyPosner.org had gotten, well, old: built in 2007 on an outdated Content Management System (note: don’t ever use Expression Engine as your CMS!), the site was in desperate need of a facelift. What better way, then, to get back into the rhythm of writing than by breaking out a beautiful new website?
So after a few months of work with a local firm called RI Web Gurus, I am thrilled to announce the launch of AndyPosner.org 2.0! The site has been completely redesigned in terms of the user interface, color scheme, logo (check out the solar panel with the sun!), ease-of-use, ability to comment on posts, etc. What’s more, there is now even a newsletter function so that you can, if you want, receive an email once per week with my latest posts.
As always, I’ll be blogging about social and environmental issues, as well as politics, cycling, and other things I care about; and I will also continue to share my prose and poetry.
So again, welcome! I look forward to engaging you in dialogue moving forward.
